The National Snaffle Bit Association is pleased to announce that Quarter Million Dollar Rider Nancy Sue Ryan, stallion Hot N Blazing and show mare Cool Krymsun Lady have been named as 2021 inductees into the NSBA Hall of Fame.

Nancy Sue Ryan
Horse trainer, owner, breeder and judge Nancy Sue Ryan has dedicated her life to promoting and bettering the Hunter Under Saddle horse and the American Quarter Horse both inside and outside the arena. Her Show Stop Farm has stood such stallions as Luke At Me, Fabuluke, A Beautiful Ride, Give Me The Goods and most recently Good Better Best. Show Stop Farm is the #1 all time leading breeder of English money earners, having bred more than 100 world and Congress champions. The list includes such horses as Fabuluke Me, Beautiful Maiden, Gracious N Fabulous, Mito Been Me, Al Fool Ya, Al Be Jamin, WithoutYouAlBeBlue, Al My Assets and Hunt Coats Required, just to name a few.

As a trainer and exhibitor, Nancy Sue has earned more than 90 AQHA, NSBA and Congress world and reserve world championships. She was inducted into the NSBA Quarter Million Dollar Club in 2010. She has shown six of the top 75 all time leading English sires to prestigious wins, and she has also shown or trained six NSBA Hall of Fame horses as well the 1999 NSBA Horse of the Year, Dont Gamble. Nancy Sue has also played a role in the development of many young horsemen. Mentoring and devoting her life to the betterment of the industry and animal husbandry in an effort to make good horses and better horsemen, NSBA honors Nancy Sue for her dedication and contributions to the show horse community.

Hot N Blazing
The late AQHA stallion Hot N Blazing has been named the 2021 inductee in the Breeding Horse category. Foaled in 1997, Hot N Blazing was by Blazing Hot and out of Zippos Baby Jane, and was owned by Courtney Battison. As a show horse, Hot N Blazing earned an AQHA world championship in Junior Hunter Under Saddle and a reserve world title in Junior Western Riding, as well as three All American Quarter Horse Congress championships and two reserve Congress titles, earning 332 AQHA points and more than $40,000.

Hot N Blazing’s real legacy can be found among his foals, who have earned more than $1.2 million, as well as 71 AQHA world and reserve world championships and 115 Congress champion and reserve champion awards. Just a few of his successful offspring include Dancin N The Dirt, Look N Hott, MWS Sevens Are Hot, The Heat Seeker, Cowboys R Hot, Dance Somemore, Hot Kattitude, Sketchie Details and Spurz N Diamonds. The stallion is the #2 all-time leading sire of Western All Around point earners according to Robin Glenn Pedigrees.

Cool Krymsun Lady
A three-time AQHA world champion mare, Cool Krymsun Lady has been named as the inductee into the 2021 Show Horse category of the NSBA Hall of Fame. By One Hot Krymsun and out of Cool Lookin Lady (Dont Skip Zip), the 2005 mare was bred by Howard Smith, of Napa, California, raised at Gil Galyean Quarter Horses and is owned by Knapp Quarter Horses.

Cool Krymsun Lady earned her first AQHA golden globe in Two Year Old Western Pleasure, going on to win her second in Junior Western Pleasure both with Gil Galyean aboard and won a third world title in Select Amateur Performance Aged mares with Susan Knapp. She was an AQHA reserve world champion in Senior Western Pleasure as well as Junior Western Riding. She was also very successful in NSBA futurities, having won the Tom Powers Triple Challenge Open Three Year Old Western Pleasure and several Congress championships that included the Open Three Year Old Western Pleasure, Junior Western Pleasure and the Non-Pro Maturity Western Pleasure. She has earned $122,243.84 in lifetime NSBA earnings.

The 2021 NSBA Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place during the 2021 NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity at the NSBA Honors event.
