The August issue of NSBA’s The Way To Go is now online. Anneene Miller began as a horse-crazy girl who grew into a world class horse owner, breeder and exhibitor. In this month’s Cover Story, we look at how she and her husband Jim have raised some of today’s most successful horses. The August issue also celebrates the 20th anniversary of the NSBA Breeders Championship Futurity and World Championship Show, and everything from the show schedule to this year’s judges, vendors, sponsors, staff and Markel Insurance Breeders Championship Futurity Yearling Sale consignments are include. The Way To Go also looks back over 20 years of the show with a timeline and photos. NSBA also celebrate this year’s inductees into the NSBA Hall of Fame and Quarter Million Dollar Club as well as the Horse of the Year and Jack Benson Award recipients. This year’s finalists for the Youth of the Year are also highlighted. In this month’s Sound Advice, editor Connie Lechleitner talks with trainers and looks into the psychology of mental preparation for competing when the pressure is on. The Foundation Feature also examines the Foundation’s five pillars of work. All this and much more can be found in the August The Way To Go!
