Lee grew up in Texas and transformed his hobby as a youth into a professional career that spanned All Around events at AQHA shows. He began training shortly after graduating from high school, working first in Halter and Western Pleasure, and eventually finding his niche with English events.

Lee earned $10,030.88 in NSBA lifetime earnings, competing in Hunter Under Saddle, Working Hunter, Hunter Hack and Pleasure Driving, as well as Performance Halter Stallions. In 2017, he won Junior Hunter Hack with Metallic Iron at the NSBA World Championship Show.
