A Battle of Horsemanship

Nationally ranked Horsemanship exhibitors from across the country are formally invited to compete against one another for a $15,500 purse in the 2023 CINCH Horsemanship Invitational. Prelims will be held Tuesday, August 15 and finals will be held Wednesday, August 16 in conjunction with the 2023 NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity in the Ford Truck Arena with a Finals Party sponsored by CINCH.

Who is Invited

All Non-Pro exhibitors, including Novice exhibitors, who earned a top ten placing in a Horsemanship class at one of NSBA's alliance breed organizations' championship-level shows or the NSBA World Championship Show in 2022 are formally invited to participate in the 2023 CINCH Horsemanship Invitational to face off in the ultimate Horsemanship challenge.

Only qualified Youth and Amateur exhibitors who hold a Non-Pro status may compete. All age groups and levels are eligible. Those placing in the top ten in a Novice/Level 1 Horsemanship class in 2022 will maintain their eligibility only for the CINCH Horsemanship Invitational eligibility. Riders are required to be NSBA members and horses are required to be registered with NSBA. Qualifiers will receive an invitation by mail.

When & Where

This event will be held in conjunction with the NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The finals will be held Wednesday, August 16, following the 3 Year Old Open Hunter Under Saddle in the Ford Truck Arena. Entry Information

All eligible riders will be sent an invitation based on the results provided by each of the NSBA’s alliance breed associations. Click to see the complete qualifying list. Entries will follow the same deadlines as all other entries at the NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity.

Entry deadlines are as follows: 

June 28$0(Accepted at the NSBA office)
June 29 - July 12$75(Accepted at the NSBA office)
July 13 - August 14$125(Accepted at the show office in Tulsa, OK)

Entries close at 5:00 PM on August 14, 2023. All exhibitors must check in at the show office no later that August 14 to maintain their entries.

$15,500 Purse Payout

Put some money in the pocket of your favorite CINCH Jeans! A total of $15,500 will be awarded across four different categories: Overall Exhibitor Placings, Novice Division Results, Amateur 50 & Over Division Results and Trainer Bonus, during the inaugural CINCH Horsemanship Invitational.

Any exhibitor who declares a trainer will make his or her trainer eligible for bonus payouts. A trainer may win only one trainer bonus. In the event that a trainer would win more than one bonus, the next highest placing trainer will receive the bonus payout.

Third Place - $1,500.00

Fourth Place - $1,250.00

Fifth Place - $1,000.00

Sixth Place - $350.00

Seventh Place - $350.00

Eighth Place - $350.00

Attendees are invited to wear their CINCH Jeans and join us to cheer on their favorite horsemanship exhibitors! Celebrate at the Finals Party sponsored by CINCH with music, appetizers and good fun.
