The National Snaffle Bit Association is pleased and honored to announce a new partnership with the National Open Horse Show Association, NOHSA.
“The National Open Horse Show Association’s mission is to foster growth in the open horse show community connecting the open show community in a way that inspires them to continue pursue their hobby of showing horses,” said Stephanie Lynn, NSBA Executive Director. “The purpose of the organization aligns with NSBA’s goals to continue to develop interest in the show horse industry. It is a natural partnership and we are excited about the relationship.”
The National Open Horse Show Association is an Illinois based not-for-profit 501 (c)(5). The Association seeks to offer the open horse show community the benefits of a national organization providing services such as a data base to maintain show records, year-end high point awards and a World Championship experience complete with a title, awards and opportunity to strive for excellence in a family friendly setting.
The Association will host the NOHSA World Championship Show September 11-13, 2020 in Cloverdale, Indiana at the C Bar C Arena. Open to all members, the show will cater to those exhibitors currently showing open horse shows by promoting participation at member’s local open horse shows. As the organization grows, a judge certification program will be implemented, shows will be able to offer special medal classes and regions will be developed to recognize achievements of members on a local level.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to sponsor an organization that seeks to grow and inspire participation. The timing is perfect and we look forward to welcoming a new family to the arena,” Dianne Eppers, NSBA Senior Advisor stated.
